The eternally optimistic Lakeside Pride Symphonic Band closes its first full post-vaccination season with a journey through the best we can find in our chaotic every day. We’ll zoom between worlds with Kevin Day’s Rocketship. We’ll find peace in Omar Thomas’ Shenandoah and tranquility in Percy Grainger’s Country Gardens. We’ll make stops in other worlds crafted by Berk, Strauss, and Cuong, and conclude by planting seeds for future hope with Bernstein’s Candide Suite. Join us as we seek out everyday silver linings!

About this Season
Lakeside Pride Music Ensembles presents its 25th anniversary season “Silver Linings.” Founded in 1997, the musicians of Lakeside Pride built a chosen family at a time when acceptance and rights for LGBTQ people looked very different than they do today. Through rough times and good, we’ve found joy in unexpected silver linings.
